When a friend, Patrick Chang, co-founder of Appetite for Good, a food-focused non-profit based in New York City, asked me to attend the Food and Wine Festival and contribute a write-up about the event, I jumped at the opportunity. I love writing, but I rarely get the chance to do it with my day job getting in the way.
The event was hosted at Keen’s Steakhouse in Midtown and the panel consisted of celebrity and well known chefs. The topic was “local” and what “local food” is all about.
